We foster environments where you feel comfortable being yourself and confident connecting with others

  • - 4 Gymnasiums including a turf gym (open to members for basketball, indoor pickleball, & soccer anytime there is not programming)
  • - 2 Indoor Tracks (1/9 mile track and 1/16 mile track where strollers are welcome)
  • - 3 Racquetball Courts (open to members for raquetball, volleyball, dodgeball, and open play)

Countryside Gymnasiums

While we strive to keep our gyms open as often as possible, there are times when a gym may be closed, here are a few things to keep in mind as our schedules may change:

- The upstairs gyms are open during our regular hours of operations, however Summer Camp groups will have priority to use this space in the summer.

- Multiple programs, such as basketball lessons or martial arts, may be held in some of the gyms, all other times are considered open gym times to members and do not require a reservation to use it.

- Indoor pickleball is available in the lower level gym (check gym schedules as they do change seasonally)

Countryside Indoor Tracks

Walkers, joggers, and even parents with strollers are welcome on our tracks. Track 1, next to our Cardio Strength Center, nine laps equal one mile. There are designated individual walk, jog and run lanes. On Track 2, above our Main Gym, 16 laps equal one mile.  If you want to run or walk with someone, Track 2 is for you. It is accessible by elevator and strollers are welcome.

Countryside Racquetball Courts

Racquetball was invented at the Y in 1950 (by Y volunteer Joe Sobek at the Greenwich, CT YMCA) and is still very popular today. But these courts are used for so much more these days from volleyball to dodgeball. Our racquetball courts are open during our regular hours of operations, and do not require reservations. You can bring your own sports equipment or borrow some from the equipment bin outside the sports office.
