The
AWAY program is a membership philosophy that says: When a person
enrolls in a YMCA, he or she becomes a member of a nationwide
association of people helping build strong kids, strong families
and strong communities, and therefore, when away from home, on
business or vacation, each member will be warmly welcomed by all
other participating YMCAs in the United States.
You'll discover many participating YMCAs have no restrictions
on visiting Y members however, some locations may restrict "visits
by members of YMCAs within 50 miles to three per month," "visiting
members may only use the facility at certain hours," "visiting
members will be charged half the guest fee," or "visiting Y members
are restricted to a limited number of visits each year."
A.W.A.Y. Home Away From Home

the services in another city out side of the 50 mile radius, you
may do so on a short term basis. Please call ahead the YMCA that
you will be visiting to be sure they are a member of the A.W.A.Y.
program.
