  Cardio Strength Center

The Cardio Strength Center is designed for both cardiovascular and muscular workouts. We offer top of the line cardiovascular equipment as well as Nautilus 2 ST weight lifting equipment.

Staff
Our instructors are courteous, friendly, polite and well-trained. All staff have been instructed about each piece of Nautilus 2ST/Cardio equipment. They are here to serve you and your training needs.

Benefits

  • The most important benefit is that 20-30 minutes of moderate activity three times a week will decrease your resting heart rate (RHR).

  • Over six months, most people can achieve a decrease by 10 beats per minute (bpm)!

  • The average male RHR is 70-95 bpm.

  • The average female RHR is 75-100 bpm.

  • If you reduce your RHR by 10 bpm, then over the next 25 years, you will save approximately 132 million beats of your heart which can add more active and productive years to your life!

Age Requirements
No one under 12 years is allowed to use the Cardio Strength Center. To workout, you must be 12-15 years old with a parent, or 15 years old or older.

Cardio Theater
A comfortable, non-intimidating environment where you can participate in a moderate activity while being entertained and motivated by a multitude of audiovisual selections or by a large variety of magazines.

How to Lift Properly
Lifting properly requires good form. Good form involves executing all the repetitions in a slow, smooth style. No throwing or jerking movements should be used. And special attention should be given to lowering the resistance (eccentric contraction). Research shows that for building muscular size and strength, lowering resistance is far more important than raising the resistance.

How to Train
At the beginning of training, the trainee should train three days per week. Advanced trainees who want to handle a heavier resistance with more intensity may train even less, only two High Intensity days per week.

To put Christian principles into practice through programs
that build healthy spirit, mind, and
body for all.
