  Child Watch

The YMCA'S Child Watch service is
FREE to members and a $5.00 per hour per child for Program members. Maximum 2 Hour Limit.

Hours

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 9:00pm

Saturday 8:30am - 1:00pm

We have regular scheduled staff to service your needs.

gGeneral Rules

  1. You must be participating at the YMCA and on the premises at all times.

2. There is a 2 hour limit per day. There is a $5 per child late fee for every 15 minutes over 2 hours.

3. The Child Watch Center cares for children starting at 6 weeks old up to age 9.

4. Without staff permission parents are not permitted to go beyond the gate.

5. Please put your child’s name on any items that you bring in the center.

6. If your infant needs a bottle, all bottles must be labeled & pre-made upon arrival. Parents are not permitted to bring any type of food into the center. This is for allergy & safety purposes.

7. Please do not bring individual toys from home.

8. Please do not bring your child if he/she is sick.

9. Please use pull-ups or diapers if your child is not completely potty trained.

10. If your child is in need of a diaper change at the point of sign-in, we ask that you stay and change it before leaving. Parents are responsible to provide diapers and wipes.

11. At certain peak times, priority care will be given to certain staff members as deemed necessary. This is to be decided by the Child Watch Administrator or Team Leader.

Security System

1. Our Team Leader will sign-in your child(ren) on the sign in sheet.
a. Child’s name and age
b. Member number
(or marked if program member)
c. Parent/adults name
d. Parents location
e. Secondary person designated to
sign-out child
f. Time in

2. You will be assigned a number and given a badge with the corresponding number to keep with you.

3. You must present your badge at the point of pickup.

4. You may designate a secondary person to pickup your child(ren), but you must designate them on the sign-in sheet and they must have the number badge or some form of Id when they pickup. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE TO THIS RULE, EVEN IF IT IS THE OTHER PARENT. They must also be at least 16 years old to pick up. Please note, there is a space to indicate that someone may not pickup your
child(ren).
