Racquetball
Racquetball currently
has a floating league and a beginner league. The floating
league is when people come and sign up to challenge other
players in the challenge courts. This is based on convenience
for players who can not commit to playing on a regular bases.
There are lessons available for ages 8 and up. Racquetball
ladders forming now see details below.
Fencing
This is an international, competitive sport for ages 12
and up. Classes are offered for beginner and advanced levels
in which students will learn the basic skills for fencing.
Supplies can be provided for the class.
Basketball
Basketball is currently scheduled for "open" play on Monday
and Thursday evenings. There is a competitive men's league
which plays one night during the week for ten weeks and
has a small tournament at the end of league play.
Golf
Golf is a collaborative effort between the Countryside YMCA
and Southwest Golf Ranch. This program will be a very beneficial
program for those looking to improve their golf skills.
Southwest Golf Ranch instructors focus on golf swing, grip,
follow through, driving, and putting to name a few. Beginner
through advanced instruction is available. Members will
receive discounted range balls and excellent golf instruction.

Countryside Trail Runners
Trail Runners welcomes people of all skill levels to come
out for a different running experience. Join us as we run the
trails of local state and national parks and forests. This year
we will:
*Weekly Saturday trail run: Meet in the YMCA front parking lot
every Saturday, 8 a.m. We will go from there to Caesar's Creek,
Sugar Creek, and elsewhere
*Trips to local and regional trail races
*Camping trip to parks outside the Cincinnati area
*Monthly meetings every second Tuesday of the month

Countryside Tennis Club
The Countryside YMCA Tennis Club was established to foster
a tennis community in Lebanon where people of all skill levels
can come out and meet other local tennis players, play people
of similar skill levels, and improve their level of play.
In promoting local tennis, the Countryside YMCA Tennis Club will:
*Form leagues
*Put on tennis tournaments
*Play other YMCA and club teams
*Run clinics to improve the play of its members

Volleyball
Volleyball is a coed league for anyone over
the age of 18 to come and enjoy a fun and friendly game. This
league is designed to play a round robin style of play. If someone
does not know the rules of the game, then a small clinic may be
conducted to introduce the sport to beginners. Sand Volleyball
is played in the summertime.
Tae Kwon
Do
These
classes are taught by
I1-Kwon Kim, 9th degree black belt, President of the World
Martial Arts Federation and an internationally known authority
on martial arts.
Beginner
Students will be taught traditional martial arts. Its emphasis
is on overall self-improvement, self control, and discipline,
as well as physical fitness, self-defense, balance, flexibility
and strength. Individuals progress at their own pace according
to their own fitness level.
Teens to Adults-any age.
Advanced
Students who have started at the Beginner Level should register
at the Advanced Level after finishing their first session of Tae
Kwon Do. Students at each belt level learn basic motions and forms,
self-defense and breaking techniques. They also participate in
supervised, controlled free-fighting. In addition, students are
instructed in Korean martial arts terminology. Although most adults
study to learn self-defense, there are many side benefits including
stress reduction, mental discipline, alertness, greater powers
of concentration and physical fitness.
Teens to Adults-any age.
