Activities

Programs at the Ralph J. Stolle Countryside YMCA are conduits of our mission; character development is truly our product. The Countryside YMCA has made a commitment to helping people grow in spirit, mind and body. We support families and communities in character development by challenging our members to accept and demonstrate positive values.
 
Last year, over 30,000 men, women and children chose the Countryside YMCA as a vehicle through which they enriched their spirit, mind and body. Some examples include:
 
  • 3,837 children participated in Sports, Aquatics, High Adventure, Preschool, Gymnastics, Pioneer and Explorer Camps
  • 182 children were enrolled in our Children's Center
  • 71 families participated in the Indian Guides program
  • 146 children participated in Nature Programs
  • 257 children received daily care at six Prime Time sites around the country
  • 2,420 members and participants were involved in special events
  • 5,141 registered participants enrolled in fitness classes, spinning step aerobics, circuit training, hi low aerobics
  • 3,044 members of the Cardio Strength Center
  • 1,157 boys and girls participated in youth sports
  • 51,552 visits were made to the senior center
  • 2,093 participants registered for the Arts & Education classes
  • 4,802 children participated in Progressive Swim lessons
  • 7,650 participants involved in free Community Programs
