Membership Scholarship
This program is offered to persons or families who have financial limitations that prevent them from joining the YMCA. For those who qualify under our financial guidelines, membership is granted with the stipulation that an adult member of the immediate family contributes service hours at Countryside YMCA. If a family is unable to work due to illness or disability, hours may be waived.
Program Scholarship
This program helps with the cost of classes and programs. Each application unit will receive at least $150 to be used towards most classes. Scholarship monies must be requested, awarded and used semi-annually. You will have to pay 50% of the cost of the program, and the scholarship dollars will pay the remaining 50%. The money does not apply to specialty classes, specialty camps, or private lessons.
You are able to reapply for a Program Scholarship once each year.
