FAQsHow much does a membership cost?Membership rates can be found on the Rates Page. Membership Financial assistance is available through our scholarship program.
Do you have corporate rates?Yes, please go to our corporate page.
Can I pay instead of automatic debit?We accept cash payment in advance for a 12-month period. To pay your membership dues monthly, we automatically deduct from a bank account or credit card.
How do I become a member?You will need to come into the YMCA and fill out a membership application and have your first month payment with you. To establish a monthly draft, you will also need a voided check or your credit card with you.
Do I have to sign a long term contract?No. Our membership is flexible and on a monthly basis. You may end your membership anytime 10 days or more before your next draft.
How do I cancel my membership?We require a 10 day written notice to cancel a membership. The cancellation form is available at the Front Desk and Welcome Center.
How do I find out about, and register for, programs and classes?Our class sessions run for five weeks. We mail out a postcard reminder postcards before every session to inform of registration dates. You will find class schedules, activities, and registration dates online. You may request a copy of the Program Schedules at the front desk. Also, we send our reminder emails. Can I visit other YMCAs?Yes. Many YMCAs across the country participate in the AWAY program which allows members from other YMCAs to visit. Cincinnati, Dayton and Greater Miami Valley YMCAs require that we pay ½ of the daily guest fee at their locations.
Can I bring guests?Yes. We encourage our members to introduce their friends, family, and colleagues to the YMCA. Guests must be accompanied by a member for $6 per person and $12 per family. You can purchase a guest pass at any entry into the YMCA.
What are your hours?Please click on the link to Hours of Operation.
Do you have lockers?We have day lockers available in all locker rooms for members to use. You should bring a lock to secure your belongings. If you forget a lock, we have token lockers available in the halls for use. Please see the Physical Desk for a token.
Do you provide towels?Yes. We have towels at the Physical Desk and Lower Level Desk for rent. Small workout towels are provided in the Cardio Strength Center and during fitness classes.
Can I bring my child in when I work out?Yes we have a Child Watch program.
Where should I park?
Can you tell me about the different locker rooms?
Where is the "Lost and Found" department?If you lose an item while at the Y, please check at the Physical Desk. Lost and found valuables will be kept safely at the front office.
Can I volunteer here?We would love for you to volunteer here. Please fill out a volunteer application at the Front Desk. Denise Evans will contact you with the availabilities we have for volunteer work.
What if I have questions, need to complain, or find something broken?We have two ways to voice your suggestions and concerns. One is the Suggestion/Concern Forms at the Front Desk. Second is the Focus on Excellence cards by the bulletin board across from the Physical Desk. If equipment is broken, please inform the staff at either courtesy desk, and they will inform the appropriate personnel. You may also click on a contact on our contact page and email the appropriate personnel that can follow up with your complaint or concern.
