Teen & Adult Swimming Lessons
YMCA swim lessons are not just for the very young. We offer opportunities for those who have never had the chance to learn how to swim and for those wanting to brush up on what swimming skills they do have. Class sizes are small and instructors are caring. Take the plunge today!
 
For Teens & Adults age 13 on up.
Class is 30 minutes.
 
Beginner Teen
Have you been to a teen swimming party and not been able to participate? Are you afraid your friends will make fun of you because you do not swim very well? If you are a young adult age 11-16 and you want to finally learn how to swim, come join our Teen swimming lessons. You will join other young people just like you, ready to enjoy a lifetime of enjoyable aquatic activities! FREE to YMCA Members.
 
Adult Beginners
Afraid of the water? Never learned to swim as a child? Or, you know how to swim, but were never taught the correct technique? Let "America's Favorite Swim Instructor" put you at ease. Class size kept to a minimum for more individualized attention.
 
Master Stoke Clinic
The Master’s Stroke Clinic is for adult swimmers wishing to improve their strokes, prepare for a triathlon or enter the world of swimming workouts. Swimmers receive help in stroke technique and workouts and have the opportunity to participate in our “Swimming Expeditions” Instructors will plot a course for you to achieve swimming miles using wonderful destinations such as “Swim to Cancun” or “Swim to Disney World”! Prizes will be awarded for reaching predetermined checkpoints along the way. What a fun and interesting way to expand your swimming skills and endurance!
