Classical Ballet by ChristyClassical Ballet is the foundation of all types of dance. Students develop grace, flexibility, strength, body awareness, and coordination. During class Ms Christy also focuses on Character Development, using our Core Values, Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Faith. "Building Children of Character". Listed below are ballet classes offered for children 2 through 17 plus adult classes. Throughout the year, students will have the opportunity to perform at nursing homes, festivals and YMCA events. Please have your children take a restroom break before class. Parents are not permitted to stay in the class room during class.

Girls Dance Attire:Black leotard (any style), pink or black leather ballet shoe with strap. Hair pulled back in a bun. No jewelry and no gum.
Boys Dance Attire:White T-shirt, black shorts and black leather ballet shoes, no gum.
Adults Dance Attire:Comfortable workout clothes and pink or black leather ballet shoes
Classical Ballet Parent/ChildThis class is for young children (2-5) who are not quite ready to leave mom. Ballet technique and terminology are presented in a fun, age appropriate manor. Students will work on flexibility while having fun and learning to use the body in different ways through coordination and discipline. This class ends in free dance.
Classical Ballet Pre IThis is a 30-minute class. Students will develop flexibility, core strength, grace, and coordination. Students will work on floor, barre, center, and use French terms.
Classical Ballet Pre IIThis ballet II class is a 45-minute class where students will be introduced to classical ballet. Students will develop more flexibility, grace, stamina, coordination, and discipline. This will be done on the floor, barre, and center work, using French terms.
Classical Ballet Pre IIIThis class is a 1-hour class. Dancers at this level will develop a basic foundation of the steps used in ballet. Students will work on flexibility, coordination, discipline and basic positions. This will be done on the floor, barre, and center work, and across the floor with all French terms.
Classical Ballet IStudents will be working to develop more body awareness, flexibility, turnout, coordination, discipline and positions. This will be done on the floor, barre and center work. There will be more emphasis on discipline and combinations across the floor. Using floor based Russian theory and all the French terms.
Classical Ballet IIStudents must have one year of ballet and permission from the instructor. And will learn classical ballet using French terms and develop body awareness, flexibility, coordination, discipline and basic positions. This will be done on the floor, barre and center work. There will be more emphasis on discipline and combinations.
Classical Ballet IIIStudents must have two years of ballet and permission from the instructor. Students will be required to practice outside of class.
Classical Ballet Point Pre IThis class is for advanced students and students must be 10 years old and have permission from the instructor. And must be enrolled in at least one other ballet class. Practice outside of class is required.
Classical Ballet for AdultsThis class will teach the fundamentals of beginning ballet. Ballet is a great form of exercise.
Classical Ballet for Home SchoolStudents will develop flexibility, core strength, grace, and coordination. Students will work on floor, barre, center, and use French terms.
Night at the Ballet WorkshopAt the end of each 5-week session, the last Friday of the session a different ballet performance will be introduced at the Night at the Ballet. This is a fun evening for students to enjoy a different ballet story, and watch the ballet. There will be a free dance, pizza, and drinks. Please sign up early so we can plan for the party. Fees for workshop and snack.
