Art ClassesArt classes for Home School (Tuesdays) and Art by Young Rembrandts can be a wonderful way for children to express their creativity, while at the same time learning fundamental skills that will improve their artistic endeavors. Art classes for children can come in many forms. They can be specific to drawing, painting or sculpting, or they may explore several types of art. For the very young children, art classes are often relatively freeform and simply give children an opportunity to create. Art establishes a foundation for critical thinking, and develops each child's creative potential.
Children in pottery classes will have fun while using their imaginations and learning a range of techniques including hand building. Children are welcome to create anything they wish - monsters, dragons, people, animals, plaques, bowls.....the possibilities are endless!! Please bring a smock or wear old clothes! Pottery classes are also offered for adults.
Look under "New Classes" for workshops offered during the summer.
