Victory GardensThe Countryside YMCA is offering garden plots to members for just $20 for the season. You plant, maintain and harvest your own garden. The gardens are roto-tilled in early May and are ready for planting. Water will be available by hose for all to use or rain barrels for organic gardens. Chapel & Family Resource CenterStop by our chapel and family resource center where you are welcome to borrow a book, submit a prayer request, relax and read or meditate and pray. We have many great resources here for helping you with important issues that may be challenging your family; help with specific age groups from toddlers to seniors, for your spiritual and social needs
Chaplaincy ProgramAt Countryside, we not only care about your mind and body, but we care about your spirit as well. The chaplaincy program exists for the Spiritual needs of the Countryside community. We have chaplains available to encourage you, listen to you, and show you the love of Christ regardless of where you may be on your own spiritual journey.
Christian WallyballThis program was originally established as a Christian Singles recreation and fellowship program. In existence for over a decade the program eventually celebrated several unions of marriage. Amen! The group continues to serve singles as well as couples with an evening of Christian fellowship and recreation followed up with refreshments and devotion time. Through the creation of caring communities, our YMCA has several opportunities to build realtionshiips and share in common interest. Some of the groups that are meeting are the Y Wheeler's Bike Group, knitting group, table tennis, bible groups, walking and running groups....and much, much, more.
