Climbing Wall

At the Summit a whole new branch of working out and thought process begin.  Here it will be a tough work out without using weights.  Where your mind will always be working on different moves and stretching your endurance.

Staff
Our employees are always ready to assist and instruct, while being instructed in CPR and First Aid.
 
Age Requirements    
All kids under 18, will need their parents to sign a waiver for them, which will last 2 years.  While, parents will always need to be present with children 13 years of age and younger.

Summit Climbing Wall Policies
  1. Gym shoes or Climbing shoes
  2. Durable and comfortable clothes
  3. Classes and Rentals are on an individual basis
  4. Chalk is recommended
  5. Your Belayer must be Certified here at the Summit.
  6. The matts are used for Bouldering not climbing with rope
  7. Trainings and instruction can be obtained during open hours
Climbing Classes
Belay Test Out:
Experienced climbers can receive belay certification by demonstrating to our climbing staff their knowledge and ability.
 
Climbing For Kids
A class specifically designed for kids to help with coordination and self-esteem through fun climbing activities.  Classes are offered for children ages 4-6 and ages 7-9.
 
Climbing To Fitness
This class is as it sounds, so you will get out what you are willing to put in!  Ages for this class would be 13-17 on Friday evenings from 6:00-6:45 and 18+ at 6:00 pm, Thursday!  If you are not sure about climbing, then that is why I am offering this class!  So, all I ask is for apparel, are tennis shoes and comfortable clothing.  The age bracket is so wide spread, because I need to see who is ready to sweat.
 
Intro to Climbing
Participants will learn proper knots, how to wear and tighten harnesses, rope care procedures, how to use belay device and tie in procedure.  This class takes approximately 45 minutes and allows adults to belay for their children or other individuals.  Must be over 13 years of age to receive certification
 
Preschool Climbing
This exciting new class helps kids develop body coordination through climbing.
 
Youth Climbing
This exciting new class helps kids develop body coordination through climbing.
