Join us for a camp experience unlike any we have ever offered!Specialty arts camps are 1/2 Day camps that consist of a concentrated experience in the various arts offered! Campers will enjoy small class sizes plenty of instructor attention and the shortened half day format lets them participate in other half day camps during the morning.

PUPPET MAKING
(ages 6-13)Week 9
Hands-on!Children will make several kinds of puppets throughout the week to take home, and will learn about the history of puppets and how to work them.
PERFORMING WITH PUPPETS
(ages 6-13)Week 10
Create a great puppet performance!We will learn how to plan and perform an effective and exciting puppet show, working with our own puppets and sets with the help of art and theater instructors.
THEATER
(ages 6-18)Weeks 3 & 4
Join experienced theater veteran Bridgette Cox for an incredible theatrical experience. Campers will have 4 days of instruction and practice which will culminate in a performance for fellow campers and parents on Friday. This is an awesome opportunity for beginners and experienced students alike!
YOGA KIDS
(ages 6-9)Weeks 2 & 8
Through guidance from certified Yoga Kids instructor Diana Mallin Sanchez, campers will experience the many benefits of yoga, including enhanced strength, balance, flexibility and relaxation through fun and challenging poses.Music, games, storytelling, creative arts and earthcare blend seamlessly with yoga to enable children to learn invaluable skills to help them grow strong physically, mentally, and emotionally.Please wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement, also bring a clean towel for yoga outside (weather permitting).
PHOTOGRAPHY
(ages 9-16)Week 6
Have an awesome time being creative with cameras as students learn through fun and engaging photo assignments. Campers will travel the YMCA and nature trail taking pictures of people, places and things. Students will also learn basic photo retouching on the computer with Photoshop Elements.
BALLET
(ages 6-9)Week 7
Join Ballet instructor Christy Hilton for a fun week of ballet activities.Students will learn dance routines, technique and do some fun games and activities as well.A small recital will be held on Friday afternoon prior to camp ending that day.
MAGIC
(ages 6-13)Week 5
Learn magic from professional magician “Merlin” Larry Payne.Campers will learn the methods behind some awesome illusions and get some hands on experience performing magic for their peers.On Friday camp participants will perform a mini-magic show for their parents.
