- Cooking. A variety of cooking classes helps children navigate the kitchen and learn about good nutrition.
- Creative Cooking. Children learn basic cooking skills, tools, and terminology while creating fun treats like pizza, soups, and desserts.
- Cooking Kids in the Kitchen. Children learn cooking basics and vocabulary terms and use a variety of utensils as they develop math skills, reading practice, and nutrition knowledge.
- One-Day Cooking Workshop. Children learn basic cooking skills and terminology while preparing an entrée and a dessert. Child must be potty trained. Includes storytime.
- One-Day Safe Sitter® Workshop. Safe Sitter provides an overview of the skills needed to care for infants through school age children. Students ages 11 to 17 learn how to handle life-threatening emergencies, Heimlich Maneuver, personal safety, and when and how to call for help. Students also learn the business aspect of babysitting. Manuals are available for the class and can be purchased for personal use. Students must pass practical and written test to receive a Safe Sitter babysitting certification card. Registration is requested to secure your seat. Bring a sack lunch and drink. Upon completion of the class, see your instructor to receive a discount on YMCA CPR Certification. CPR Certification is available to youth age 14 or older.
- Kids Day Out. Students discover something new about the world every week through story time, fun crafts, and other activities. Bring a sack lunch. Early registration requested.

YMCA Credit and Refund Policy
- A full refund will be made when a class is cancelled by the YMCA due to low enrollment.
- A partial credit may be made if a credit is requested at least 24 hours prior to the first day of class or if a participant becomes ill (doctor's note required). A processing fee will be deducted from the program fee paid by the member.
- No refunds are offered if the five-week session has ended or if there is a cancellation due to inclement weather. Classes cancelled due to weather may be rescheduled during the make-up week.
